Leeds fans speculate as Christiansen refuses to discuss Lasogga absence

According to BBC Sports broadcaster Adam Pope on Twitter, Leeds United manager Thomas Christiansen refused to discuss the absence of striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga following the 4-1 defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday night, and Whites fans have been speculating on what has happened.

The Hamburg loanee missed the win against Middlesbrough on Sunday through illness, but when Christiansen was asked for an update on the 25-year-old, he said he only wanted to talk about the players available to him.

It is certainly a comment that has raised suspicions among the Elland Road faithful, with the German centre-forward having something of an up and down start to his career with the Yorkshire outfit.

Leeds supporters were quick to have their say on latest Christiansen’s comments via social media, and while one said “I have a gut feeling he doesn’t want to play for us”, another said it “feels like Lasogga has played his last game for us”.
