Leeds fans have been appreciative on Twitter after Barry Douglas posted an update revealing his operation was a success.
Douglas has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a medial ligament injury in his knee and he has now undergone an operation which will help him on his road to recovery.

The 29-year-old played through the pain barrier after picking up his injury on Saturday to assist a goal which could swing the promotion race in Leeds’ favour.
The victory over Millwall saw Leeds move back into second place above Sheffield United and put their fate in their own hands.
Leeds now have a one-point gap between them and the Blades with seven games left to play in the league and if they end up getting promoted fans will look back on Douglas’ assist against Millwall as one of the contributing factors.
Fans have been showing their gratitude on Twitter after Douglas posted his injury update…
Good luck in your recovery. Changed the game on Sat and it could be a crucial moment in our season. Never a good time to bow out but at least you know you’ve done your bit

A frustrating season Barry but your contribution on Saturday might just mean the difference between automatic promotion and play offs.
Best of luck in your recovery mate

Get well soon Barry!

Good luck with the recovery & thanks for the input into such a mad season with @LiamCooper__ & the boys… Who I’m sure will be taking that lovely floated cross against Millwall as another pivot point in the season that will drive on the push back to the prem!
