Leeds fans threaten not to buy tickets

It would be fair to say that there was a lot of excitement amongst Leeds United supporters when Marcelo Bielsa became the club’s new head coach last month.

Bielsa arrived with a huge pedigree, and was expected to waste no time in bringing new players to the club ahead of the new Championship campaign.

The Whites have already secured the services of Chelsea midfielder Lewis Baker on loan for the 2018-19 season, but that is it in terms of signings.

A deal for Derby County centre-forward Matej Vydra appears to have gone cold, whilst the club are believed to have frustrated in their attempts to sign a number of other players.

Earlier this week, Leeds’ official Twitter account revealed that season ticket holders for the 2018-19 season could buy tickets for the upcoming friendly against Oxford United later this month.

However, many of the club’s supporters insisted that they would not be spending another penny until some new players moved to Elland Road.

Business will surely occur over the next month and a half, but the Leeds fans are very frustrated once again.
