Leeds fans tip West Brom to run away with the league

Leeds fans have been discussing some comments made by Hull City manager Nigel Adkins, and it seems they think they are playing for second place behind West Brom.

Leeds got back to winning ways on Tuesday night, winning 1-0 at Hull courtesy of a lovely long-range strike by Tyler Roberts.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side had over two thirds of the possession and had 12 shots, so they might feel a little unlucky to have only won by one goal.

Although it wasn’t a vintage Bielsa performance, Adkins was clearly impressed, calling Leeds “one of the best Championship teams I’ve seen in years”.

Leeds fans are loving the comments, but his following comments tipping the Whites for automatic promotion have been met with some scepticism.

It currently looks likely to be a three-horse race between Leeds, West Brom and Middlesbrough, but Leeds fans think the Baggies might run away with it due to the sheer volume of goals in their side.

Darren Moore’s side have scored 27 goals in 11 Championship matches, including seven from Jay Rodriguez and six from Dwight Gayle.
