Leeds fans unhappy with Jansson form

Leeds United suffered their fourth defeat in their last six Championship matches on Tuesday night when they went down 2-0 away to in-form Fulham.

It was always going to be a tough ask for the Whites to upset the Cottagers in London, and it turned out to be a fairly comfortable night for the home side.

The Leeds fans are a very frustrated bunch at the moment, with no players seemingly safe from criticism.

Pontus Jansson has been one of the team’s better players this season, and has recently been tipped to become the club’s new captain, but it would be fair to say that the Leeds supporters were not happy with him on Tuesday night.

The 27-year-old, who is valued at £5.4m by transfermarkt.co.uk, could well move on from Elland Road in this summer’s transfer window, and a number of the fans feel that the centre-back has already thrown in the towel.

Discipline has been an issue for Jansson this season, with the Swede picking up his 11th yellow card on his 37th Championship appearance against Fulham.

The Leeds fans are just frustrated in general, and Jansson was an easy target. A selection of the latest Twitter reaction can be seen below:
