Leeds fans urge club to sell Kiko Casilla amid transfer report

Leeds could finally see Kiko Casilla walk through the exit door this summer after a report from Marca suggested the former Real Madrid man was on Sevilla’s radar.

Football Insider have already claimed during the window that the Whites were trying to find a buyer for him and it looks as though they’ve finally come across a suitor.

Upon seeing the news, a host of supporters took to Twitter to revel in the fact he could depart, urging the club to sell him.

One fan said he was overrated and overpaid whilst another said he’d snatch Sevilla’s hands off in order for them to take Casilla.

A further supporter claimed Bailey Peacock-Farrell was a better ‘keeper and that they should sell as one individual mentioned he wasn’t suited to the physicality of the Championship.

Another tweeter said the club should get Karl Darlow in, a stopper already linked to the club.

Peacock-Farrell started last season as Marcelo Bielsa’s number one but their Spanish goalkeeper displaced him after joining in January, quickly becoming the favourite choice between the sticks.

Here’s the best of the reaction.
