Leeds fans want Jack Clarke in first team

Leeds United’s Under-23 outfit are going along very well this season, with Monday’s 2-1 win over Cardiff City Under-23s leaving them top of the Professional Development League.

A double from Jack Clarke saw the Under-23s overcome Cardiff, and they have now collected 10 points from their four league matches this term.

Dating back to last season, Leeds’ Under-23 outfit have only lost one of their last 14 league matches, which is extremely impressive form at any level of football.

Clarke signed his first professional contract with Leeds in November, and it would be fair to say that there are a number of supporters excited by the teenager’s talent.

Clarke will not turn 18 until later this year, but he has been in fine form for the Under-23s this term, and has now been tipped to earn a spot in the first team.

Leeds’ first team have made a strong start to the 2018-19 Championship season, with a total of 14 points from six matches leaving them top of the division.

However, despite the competition for places, a number of Leeds fans feel that young forward Clarke is worth a spot.
