Leeds fans want Saiz sold this summer

Leeds United finished their preparations for the 2018-19 campaign with a 1-0 win over Spanish outfit Las Palmas on Sunday.

It seems incredible that the new season is now upon us, and Leeds will open their Championship challenge against Stoke City on Sunday afternoon.

It has not quite been the transfer window that the Leeds fans have wanted thus far, but head coach Marcelo Bielsa still has time to improve his squad.

Samuel Saiz’s future is an interesting one, with the 27-year-old scoring nine times and eight appearances for Leeds last term following a move from Huesca.

There is absolutely no question that the attacker is a talent, but amid reported interest from Valencia, it seems that the Leeds fans would be happy for him to be sold in this summer’s transfer window.

Saiz – valued at £3.1m by Transfermarkt – is a game-changer for Leeds on his day, but it certainly appears that the club’s supporters would rather have the money.
