Leeds impressed with De Bock debut

Laurens De Bock made his Leeds United debut in the club’s 4-3 home defeat to Millwall on Saturday afternoon.

The 25-year-old, who is valued at £2m by transfermarkt.co.uk, joined the Championship club from Club Brugge earlier this month, and had his first taste of English football against Millwall at Elland Road.

It would be fair to say that the Leeds fans are not overly happy at the moment following a difficult run of form.

Indeed, the Whites are currently on a five-game winless run in all competitions, and have lost three of their last four in the Championship to drop down to 10th spot in the table.

Leeds are still very much in touching distance of the playoffs, however, and more new faces are expected to arrive before the end of the month.

De Bock’s first appearance in a Leeds shirt was met by positivity from the fans after the question was posed on the club’s official Twitter page on Monday afternoon.
