Leeds supporters were not happy with Lasogga’s Saturday performance

Leeds United dropped more points in the English Championship on Saturday, drawing 1-1 with relegation threatened Sunderland at Elland Road.

Paul Heckingbottom’s side badly need a string of victories to give supporters hope ahead of next season but there has been little improvement since he was appointed manager and they’ve won just one of their last seven matches.

The match against Sunderland was a chance to punish a struggling Black Cats side, but Leeds failed to create much, having to settle for Pablo Hernadez equaliser as their reward for the afternoon.

Fans were left frustrated with the result and performance, particularly criticising striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga after an ineffective display. He was eventually substituted off with 10 minutes remaining as Leeds searched for a winner.

With 10 goals and four assists this season, the striker hasn’t been a total flop at Elland Road but many are now on the bandwagon of not trying to sign him permanently this summer, believing there are better options out there.
