According to Friday’s print edition of The Mirror (12/07, page 67 – via HITC), Leeds are set to turn down the chance to sign former Chelsea center-back Gary Cahill. The Whites had reportedly been given the opportunity to snap up the 33-year-old, but he does “not fit the bill”.
Leeds are looking to sell former Real Madrid shot-stopper Kiko Casilla this summer according to Football Insider. Not only are the Elland Road outfit willing to listen to offers for the 6 foot 3 shot-stopper, but they are actively looking for a summer suitor.
The Daily Record is reporting that Marcelo Bielsa and co are interested in taking Brentford captain Romaine Sawyers to Yorkshire. Scottish Premier League champions Celtic are also looking at the 27-year-old. As it stands, Leeds have not made an official bid.
