Leeds United fans want Christiansen to return as manager

Leeds United fans are having a difficult time due to the club’s recent disappointing results.

The Yorkshire outfit are unlikely to be securing a place in the playoffs as they currently reside 14th in the Championship, 12 points adrift of the top six.

The club have picked up just one victory in their last 14 league fixtures, which has put them at the bottom of the form table.

In fact, they have lost eight Championship games since Boxing Day, and ever since Paul Heckingbottom became manager, the team have recorded four defeats, three draws and one win.

The 40-year-old replaced Thomas Christiansen, who lasted just eight months before getting sacked by the Championship outfit.

In hindsight it seems that the supporters would prefer to have the Dane back in the Elland Road hotseat.

Plenty of fans took to Twitter over the weekend to urge Christiansen to return to the club.

The 45-year-old remains out of work since getting dismissed by Leeds in February.
