Leeds United maybe have had a difficult season in the English Championship but the ended things on a high yesterday, beating Queens Park Rangers 2-0 at Elland Road.
Finishing in 13th place, it wasn’t the play-off challenging campaign that fans had been hoping for in the early stages of the season, but the club can now regroup this summer and build to the future.
Part of that process will bringing through their own homegrown players into the first team and Paul Heckingbottom demonstrated against QPR, handing 16-year-old Ryan Edmondson his senior debut.
The rookie striker impressed supporters with an eager to please attitude and physical presence, with many noting he looks much stronger than his age would suggest.
Will the youngster get more games next season as the club look to improve their league standing?
