According to Football Insider, Leeds United duo Kemar Roofe and Mateusz Klich are targets for Premier League side Burnley this summer, but the recent rumour has to be a case of enough is enough for the Whites.
Well, Football Insider report that the Clarets have set their sights on the duo as they look to take advantage of the Yorkshire outfit’s financial issues.
Both players’ contracts run out next summer, and while Football Insider report that talks with Roofe over an extension are still yet to reach an agreement, The Daily Mail report that there is no option for Leeds to extend Klich’s by an extra 12 months either.
It leaves them in a precarious situation should Burnley come calling, but now is the time to stand up for themselves for a number of reasons.

Yes, the Lancashire side may be in the Premier League right now, but it doesn’t hide any of those facts.
The Whites have already lost Charlie Taylor and Chris Wood to the Turf Moor outfit in recent years, and they won’t want to lose two more of their key players to Sean Dyche.
And they are key – Roofe was the club’s top scorer last term while Klich netted 10 league goals and provided a further nine assists as was the only player to feature in all 46 of their Championship fixtures.

Leeds may have their financial issues but Victor Orta said recently that they need quality, not quantity from hereon in. If they are to have any chance of winning promotion back to the top flight, they will surely need influential individuals like this pair working under Marcelo Bielsa, who they have also got to be careful they don’t upset, in 2019/20.
There is the risk of losing them for nothing next summer, but that is surely outweighed by keeping them and potentially reaping the massive rewards come what May – especially if Burnley are their only suitors.
