Majority of Leeds fans want to see Joe Bryan at Elland Road next season

Leeds United are interested in signing Bristol City left-back according to The Yorkshire Post.

The 24-year-old speed demon was part of the Bristol City academy and has grown into a key player for Lee Johnson’s team.

He came to wider prominence after scoring the first goal in Bristol City’s historic 2-1 win against Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United last season in the Carabao Cup.

The Bristol local plays as a modern wing-back, dominating the channel and used as much as an attacking threat as a defensive shield, which could suit Marcelo Bielsa’s idiosyncratic 3-3-3-1 formation if he elects to implement it at Leeds.

We asked Leeds fans if they wanted to sign Bryan who is valued at £4.5million on Transfermarkt, although reports suggest it might take more than £10million to pry the talent away from Bristol City.

The results of our poll show that Leeds fans would be happy to part with that sort of cash as 74 per cent of those polled wanted to sign the dynamo.

Bryan would be Leeds’ second signing of the summer after they announced a loan deal for Chelsea youngster Lewis Baker.
