O’Kane tweets post-match thoughts, Leeds United fans react

Leeds United managed to get back to winning ways on Sunday when they sealed victory over Middlesbrough at Elland Road.

The Whites started the season on the front foot, going seven games unbeaten, which put them in and amongst the promotion places.

However, seven defeats in nine fixtures dropped Thomas Christiansen’s side down the table.

At the weekend, though, the Yorkshire club regained some form to move up to seventh in the table.

Not only did the team secure a 2-1 triumph over Middlesbrough on home turf, they showed former manager Garry Monk what he was missing.

The ex-Swansea City boss became Boro manager in the summer after one season in charge of Leeds.

After Sunday’s match, Eunan O’Kane opted not to focus on the Monk storyline, but instead praised the team for their work ethic during the match.

As expected, fans were quick to react to the midfielder’s message on social media.
