Leeds United welcome Aston Villa to Elland Road this weekend in a game which could potentially be a play-off final rehearsal.
The Whites come into the clash having failed to take a single point over the course of the Easter weekend, being beaten by both Wigan Athletic and Brentford.
Marcelo Bielsa is faced with a couple of selection issues ahead of Sunday’s match. Firstly the injury to Ezgjan Alioski means that the Argentine has to choose between Gaetano Berardi and Stuart Dallas for who will start at left-back.
The South American manager also baffled many Leeds supporters by dropping Kalvin Phillips for the Brentford game on Monday, and fans will be anxious to see whether or not the 23-year-old will be brought back into the fold for the penultimate Championship clash of the campaign.
This line-up includes just two changes from the Whites’ 2-0 loss to the Bees on Easter Monday.
Phillips returns to action in place of Adam Forshaw, whilst Dallas is set to be the preferred choice at left-back following Bielsa’s comments at his pre-match press conference on Friday.
He may have been tempted to rest a few players for this fixture against a side that has won 10 straight league games, but rediscovering some form and momentum is probably more important right now.
