Predicted XI: Bielsa to utilise 19-year-old against Derby

Leeds host Derby County for the second leg of the Championship playoff semi-finals.

The Rams are the only team that stands between the Whites and a place in the final at Wembley, but Marcelo Bielsa doesn’t have a fully fit squad for this crucial clash.

Kemar Roofe, Adam Forshaw and Tyler Roberts have been ruled out, and Pontus Jansson is still a doubt. Leeds would undoubtedly want to lineup with their strongest team but they have been forced to call upon a couple of fringe players.

This lineup has Jamie Shackleton stepping in to replace Adam Forshaw. The only alternative would be to play Hernandez as an attacking midfielder and use Jack Clarke on the right wing, but with a lead to protect at Elland Road Bielsa will likely go for the more defensive option.

Gaetano Berardi retains his place over Jansson. His brilliant performance in the first leg should be enough to keep the Swede out regardless of his injury.

Despite fans calling for Ryan Edmondson to play, Patrick Bamford is expected to come in for Roofe to lead the line.
