Leeds United will drop points against Millwall due to the absence of striker Kemar Roofe, according to Sky Sports pundit David Prutton.
Marcelo Bielsa’s unbeaten side enter the clash against Millwall with a huge selection headache in attack, with Patrick Bamford also on the sidelines and the summer signing is not expected to return for around four months.
While Millwall enter the game on the back of three consecutive defeats, the absence of Roofe has led Prutton to state that he expects Leeds will not be able to pick up a victory and predicted a 1-1 draw.
“Leeds are facing their first mini-crisis of the season after losing both their strikers to injury this week,” he told Sky Sports.
“Patrick Bamford being ruled out for several months is a huge blow and Kemar Roofe also looks set to miss the trip to Millwall.
“This will give Millwall a huge boost after a run of three straight defeats, especially after throwing away that lead against 10-man Swansea before the break.
“If Roofe was fit I’d have to back another Leeds win here, but without him I’m going to go for a draw.”
Leeds saw their run of five consecutive victories brought a halt prior to the international break against Middlesbrough and another draw could see the Peacocks knocked off their perch at the summit of the table in this early stage of the campaign.
