Leeds fans have been discussing Middlesbrough’s move for Mo Besic, and a whopping 71 per cent think they will regret not snapping him up.
Besic made his Middlesbrough debut on Friday night after joining the Riversiders on loan from Everton.
The tough-tackling Bosnian international just couldn’t force his way into the first team at Goodison, and re-joins Boro having spent the second half of last season there.
Leeds are in dire need of a couple of late signings themselves, despite their fantastic start to the season. Victor Orta takes plenty of stick for his transfer work, and fans think they should of moved for Besic.
Kalvin Phillips has been exceptional in that holding midfield role for Marcelo Bielsa, but with Ronaldo Vieira departing the club and Adam Forshaw injured again, one injury to Phillips could derail the season.
Fans are delighted with the signings of the likes of Patrick Bamford and Barry Douglas, but they clearly feel that the new boss has made a mistake by not going for Besic, especially with Tony Pulis’ side looking geared up for a promotion chase of their own.
