Sky Sports reported just a couple of weeks ago that the 18-year-old winger would be available for loan in January having failed to break into Maurizio Sarri’s side as many expected him to.
Hudson-Odoi had a fantastic pre-season with the Blues and was rewarded with a start in the Community Shield game against Manchester City, since then though he has struggled for game time with the senior side – even if he impressed in the Europa League on Thursday night – and a move away looks to be best for his career at this stage.
