Leeds have been flying high under the guidance of Marcelo Bielsa so far this season and are ranked amongst the favourites to seal a long-awaited return to the Premier League.
The Peacocks entered the international break sat third in the table, below only Sheffield United and West Brom, which presents an exciting battle for promotion in the months ahead – and additions in January are vital.
Reports have suggested that Bielsa has identified three areas he wants to strengthen his side in the New Year, as he seeks the addition of a new forward, a central defender and a winger – so we asked fans which position they would prioritise.
The results were extremely tight, with a narrow majority of 36% wanting a new winger to be top of the wishlist while 35% expressed their desire to see another striker drafted in – an area where Leeds have struggled this season due to injury issues.
Rounding off the votes were the 29% of fans who want to prioritise a new defensive addition, and the tight results further the belief that there is plenty of work to be done when the window re-opens in January.
