According to Goal, Leeds United are interested in bringing Liverpool winger Ryan Kent to Elland Road this season.
The 21-year-old was on loan at Bristol City last season where he made just six starts for the Ashton Gate side, notching up two assists during his spell, and previously spent time at Barnsley where he scored against Leeds.
However, a clause in the loan agreement forced Bristol City to fork out £500,000 for the loan deal as Kent didn’t start enough games for the Robins.
Now Goal are reporting that Leeds are interested in securing the services of the wide-man for the coming season.
There is always much less risk with a loan move, unless Leeds make the same mistake Bristol City made and don’t give Kent the required game time.
Hadi Sacko has been disappointing since he made his move permanent last summer, and Kent would offer an exciting option on the right wing for the Whites.
A loan move for Ryan Kent seems a sensible option for someone who has already gained experience playing in the Championship and who, at only 21, is still improving.
