Tells you everything you need to know: Leeds fans frustrated as woeful stat emerges

Leeds United fans on Twitter aren’t happy after a stat emerged highlighting how wasteful they have been in front of goal in recent weeks.

The tweet stated “Since Patrick Bamford’s second goal vs Preston, #lufc have found the net with three out of 112 shots at goal. That’s a conversion rate of 2.7%.”

The conversion rate of 2.7% from their last 112 shots was good enough to be the worst return in the league.

This stat has a heavy correlation between Leeds’ downturn in form as they have now picked up just one point in their previous three games, a run which saw their automatic promotion hopes dashed.

Fans blamed poor finishing for their recent run whilst one fan wasn’t too disheartened by the figures sarcastically stating: “That’s good. It can only get better.”

On the whole, it was obvious that supporters were frustrated by their team’s effectiveness in front of goal as the Whites have scored just once in their last three games, and even that goal came in controversial circumstances.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men will certainly have to buck up their ideas if they are to gain promotion to the Premier League through the playoffs.

Here’s what Leeds fans have been saying on Twitter…
