Watford v Leeds United – confirmed starting XIs

You would probably have more of a chance of winning the lottery than predicting the starting XI for Watford today, as Quique Sanchez Flores’ adoption of a rotation policy at Vicarage Road is the fundamental reason why the Hornets have been so solid this season in the Premier League. As usual, six changes have been made to face the Championship outfit as Pantilimon, Paredes, Britos, Holebas, Suarez and Abdi come in for Gomes, Nyom, Prödl, Aké, Behrami and Ighalo.

Meanwhile, although Leeds have produced some giant killings in this competition, a win at Watford wouldn’t be a major scalp despite being made underdogs. Manager Steve Evans has opted for a full strength side which includes the promising Lewis Cook in the centre midfield and we’re bound to see the introduction of the equally promising Alex Mowatt. Can the Elland Road outfit get revenge on Watford from the 2006 play off-final?
