Brentford attacker Sergi Canos is a transfer target for Middlesbrough in this summer's window - as reported by TEAMtalk.

Indeed, with Adama Traore widely expected to move on ahead of the 2018-19 campaign, Boro are being linked with a number of attackers.

Canos, who spent time with Barcelona during his youth career, actually made his debut as a professional footballer at Liverpool during the 2015-16 campaign.

The 21-year-old has also since represented Norwich City, but has been with Brentford since joining the club in January 2017.

It would be fair to say that the 5ft 9in Spaniard has made a very positive impression since his arrival at Griffin Park, and Brentford are desperate to keep him this summer.

However, Boro seemingly view the attacker as a player capable of boosting their promotion bid, and the club's supporters are interested in a deal taking place.
