According to the Daily Mail, Middlesbrough midfielder Harry Chapman could re-join Blackburn Rovers on loan before the end of the month.

Chapman came through the youth system at Boro, but is yet to feature in the league for his club despite signing a professional contract at the start of 2015.

Chapman joined Blackburn on loan last summer, and scored once in 12 Championship appearances for the club.

His campaign was cut short by a hamstring injury, however, which led to the midfielder returning to the Riverside Stadium.

According to the Daily Mail, Blackburn want to re-sign the 20-year-old before the end of August, and are confident that a deal will take place this week.

The Boro fans have been reacting to the speculation on social media, and it would be fair to say that the majority are not best pleased with their club's reported stance.
