According to Sky Sports, Middlesbrough are on the verge of signing Huddersfield Town attacker Rajiv van La Parra on loan for the remainder of the season.

The report claims that Van La Parra will soon undergo his medical with the Championship club before signing on loan until the end of the campaign.

The 5ft 11in ace was a regular for Huddersfield during the 2017-18 campaign, but has not appeared for the Terries in the Premier League since the start of October.

The 27-year-old scored five times in 38 appearances for Huddersfield last season, including three in 33 Premier League matches as David Wagner’s side survived in the top flight.

The former Netherlands Under-21 international has also played more than 100 times in the Championship, scoring five goals and registering 16 assists during spells at Wolverhampton Wanderers, Brighton & Hove Albion and Huddersfield.

The Boro fans have been offering their views on the situation, and it would be fair to say that a number have differing views.
