According to Birmingham Live, Yannick Bolasie was at Aston Villa’s training ground on Tuesday afternoon as Steve Bruce’s side look to hijack Middlesbrough’s move for the Everton attacker.
Boro appeared to have won the race for the 29-year-old on Monday night, with the winger due to reunite with Tony Pulis at the Riverside Stadium.
However, it has been reported that Villa have made a late play for the Toffees attacker, who could now snub Boro to make the move to Villa Park.
The Boro fans have been reacting to the speculation on social media, and it would be fair to say that a number have differing views.

Indeed, whilst many are convinced that Pulis still has the situation under control due to his relationship with Bolasie, there are those who feel that a move could now fall through.
Bolasie has had his injury problems since arriving at Everton, but he could be a real force in the Championship during the 2018-19 campaign.
A selection of the Twitter reaction from the Boro supporters can be seen below:
Don’t panic, Pulis has got this under control.

Embarrassment of a club us lately. How difficult is it to sign a few new players!
