Adama Traore is being widely tipped to leave Middlesbrough this summer following the club's failure to secure promotion to the Premier League for the 2018-19 campaign.

Traore scored five times and registered 10 assists in 34 Championship appearances last term, but Boro lost in the Championship playoff semi-finals to Aston Villa.

Traore can leave Boro for £18m this summer - as covered by Arab News - due to a release clause in his contract at the Riverside Stadium.

There is no question that the 22-year-old, who is valued at £7.2m by transfermarkt.co.uk, is still inconsistent, but he is capable of excellent things, and had some seriously impressive matches for Tony Pulis' side last season.

The Boro supporters have been reacting to the latest transfer speculation, and some believe that the former Barcelona youngster would be wasted if he moved to PSG.

The bulk seem to agree that Traore will be departing the club this summer, however, and that would be a huge blow to the club's chances of challenging for promotion next season.
