Middlesbrough’s key 16/17 Premier League fixtures

After six years out of the Premier League, Middlesbrough will be looking to come back with a bang this season.

After flirting with promotion every year since they fell in to the Championship, Karanka finally ended their long awaited return to the big time with an automatic promotion spot last term.

Boro fans and Karanka alike will be keeping a keen eye out for Tees-Wear derby against Sunderland. The last time these two sides faced each other Middlesbrough came out on top, and they will be looking to repeat that success this time around.

Middlesbrough’s main ambition will be to stay in the league so Karanka and his men will keep an eye out for the teams to be tipped near the bottom, meanuing trips to Selhurst Park, Turf Moor, the KC Stadium and Dean Court will be ones to note down.
