Mirko Vucinic

Newcastle have been heavily reliant on Loic Remy for goals this year and with the Frenchman looking for a ‘bigger club’, the Magpies will have to find an adequate replacement.

They could grab at the opportunity to land Juventus attacker Mirko Vucinic, who has been pushed down the pecking order with the arrival of Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente last summer. The Montenegro striker has an impressive CV, plying his trade with Roma before being purchased by Juventus in 2011 and has won two consecutive Serie A titles.

Able to play as creator as well as putting away chances, the 30-year-old could be a bargain buy in the Toon Army’s attempt to make themselves a force in English football once again.
