Nottingham Forest fans on Twitter slated Lewis Grabban for his non-existent performance in the 0-0 draw with Swansea at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.
Both sides missed chances to win the game but lacked the cutting edge to break the deadlock, with 30-year-old Grabban’s only real opening coming towards the end, but the Forest new boy was denied by some excellent Swansea defending.
Grabban joined Aitor Karanka’s side from Bournemouth in the summer for £6m after impressing during loan spells in the Championship with Aston Villa and Sunderland throughout the last campaign.
After six appearances so far this season though the striker is still yet to find the back of the net for his new employers and Forest fans on Twitter were beginning to lose patience. Check out some of the tweets below in reaction to Grabban’s performance, with many fans seemingly hoping that he will be replaced for the Carabao Cup tie with Stoke on Wednesday.
At the moment I'd probably put Grabban on par with Djebbour, Dimitru and Robbie Findley. Not offering anything to our team, doesn't look likely to score. Vellios did a similar job to what Grabban did today and got ripped for it, but at least he'd chip in with the odd goal #NFFC

Played really well today, with better finishing we’d have Won by a couple. Still not convinced by Grabban though #NFFC

Positives – Osborn very good in that role and Janko looks the real deal.
Negatives – Lewis Grabban won't score even if we're still playing this time tomorrow. #nffc

Didn't think before the season started that I'd be saying this but Murphy offers more than Grabban, looks a shadow of the player of last season #nffc

If Grabban is our main striker and he doesn’t improve, we are going to be in trouble. #nffc

Grabban looks about as sharp as a plastic spoon in the box. Need to sort that out if these draws are going to turn into wins #nffc
