Good news: Nottingham Forest fans react as Lewis Grabban provides fitness update

Nottingham Forest striker Lewis Grabban has revealed that he is back in training.

Grabban, who has struck 15 times in 31 Championship appearances this season, has missed his team’s last five league matches with an Achilles problem.

The 31-year-old has confirmed that he is back on the training field, though, and could return to first-team action against Swansea City after the international break.

Forest, who were held to a 1-1 draw at Ipswich Town last time out, are currently 11th in the Championship table after 38 matches of the 2018-19 campaign.

The Reds are just three points off sixth-placed Aston Villa, however, and still very much in the hunt for the playoffs at this stage of the season.

As expected, the news that Grabban is nearing a return has been welcomed by the Forest supporters, with a number taking to social media to reveal their delight.
