According to the Daily Record, new Nottingham Forest boss Martin O’Neill is considering recalling loanee Joe Worrall back from Rangers.
However, according to the aforementioned report, Forest would have to pay a fee in order to terminate the loan deal early, and Worrall is also keen to remain at Ibrox Stadium to try and help Steven Gerrard’s side win the Scottish Premiership title.

Forest could still force the issue and bring the 22-year-old defender back to the City Ground. O’Neill’s squad could do with defensive cover and Worrall could certainly have an impact for his parent club in the remainder of the Championship campaign.
For the sake of a small fee, Forest ought to exercise their right to recall Worrall this month. The England under-21 international has developed as a player in his time in Glasgow and is now ready to stake a claim for a regular starting role with Forest.
