Nottingham Forest star Joe Lolley has revealed the three things that he and his teammates plan to do in order to get a result against Brentford this weekend, as they look to embark on a run of form that gets them back in contention for a play-off spot.
Amongst all the disruption caused by the departure of Aitor Karanka, and the consequential appointment of Martin O’Neill, Forest have tailed off and currently sit in 12th place in the Championship, five points off the play-off positions.
Their poor form has seen them win just two of their last ten games, a run which has also seen them lose seven of those games as their promotion hopes fade away.

However, O’Neill does have a lot of talent at his disposal, including Lolley, who told the Forest matchday progamme (via the Nottingham Post): “It will be a tough game against Brentford who have hit a bit of form after struggling for a while after changing manager.
“They will be looking to come here and get a good result so we need to make sure we match them, make sure we defend properly and going forward create plenty of chances.
There is no doubt about it; the game against the Bees will be an extremely tough test.
Brentford have an abundance of attacking talent at their disposal, including 17-goal Neil Maupay, Ollie Watkins and Sergi Canos, so Forest will have to be defensively sound at the City Ground if they are to please their disgruntled fans.
O’Neill has some brilliant attacking options at his disposal too in deadline day signing Leo Bonatini, Lewis Grabban, Matty Cash, and of course, Lolley, who has seven goals and eight assists to his name so far this season – whatever the result, it should be an exciting affair for another sell-out crowd.
