Nottingham Forest fans laud Joao Carvalho following in-house friendly

Nottingham Forest fans have been left to ponder why Joao Carvalho isn’t featuring for the team more, reacting to footage of the Portuguese in action during an in-house friendly.

Two sets of Forest teams were pitted against each other on Tuesday afternoon and the creative midfielder was one of the players to catch the eye, showing his fantastic vision on more than one occasion.

The 22-year-old is an excellent talent but has only started once for Martin O’Neill’s side since January.

He may be out of favour, but his display in the friendly did enough to convince Reds supporters he should be playing. Picking up on his number 10 shirt number, they claimed he looked decent and was a “right player.”

Other compliments were also issued, saying he was instrumental to everything as they were left excited at how he was pulling the strings.
