Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to react after the club signed Leicester defender Yohan Benalouane in an attempt to ease their injury crisis in defence.
The Championship play-off chasers have been dealt a significant blow at the back, having lost Danny Fox to suspension, along with all of Michael Dawson, Michael Hefele and Tobias Figueiredo to injury.
Newly-appointed boss Martin O’Neill has been unsuccessful in his attempts to recall Joe Worrall from his loan spell with Rangers, having missed the deadline for such an action – Forest could only cancel the 22-year-old’s loan before January 7th.
As a result, the former Aston Villa manager has signed the Tunisian international Benalouane, who helped the Foxes win the Premier League and reach the Champions League quarter-finals.
The 31-year-old has signed an 18-month contract with the club, and Forest fans are happy that their defensive crisis has been somewhat eased…

Welcome to him, but in some way a strange signing. Almost feels like one of those Fawaz’ signings we always wanted to leave again after a few games, Dumitru/Bendtner! ?Hope to be proven wrong, but is this signing cleared by MON or it is the sports director’s great idea alone? ?

He looks decent. Some saying his discipline is bad but that’s okay if we get Roy Keane
