Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to react after their former player Michail Antonio netted a decisive equaliser against Liverpool on Monday night, in a game where the Reds missed the chance to extend their lead at the top of the table – they now sit just three points above Manchester City in precarious fashion.
The 28-year-old made 54 appearances for Forest, scoring 19 goals and recording 15 assists, before leaving to join the Hammers in a deal worth a reported £7m.
Antonio left the City Ground on amicable terms, and fans of the club currently managed by Martin O’Neill were proud to see him net a goal of such significance to blow the Premier League title race wide open.

Once NFFC always NFFC , Michail has potential stopped Liverpool winning the premier league by costing them 2 points and leaving them vulnerable to city as the lead of the premier league could change this weekend #nffc #oneofourown #lfc #antonio https://t.co/qS9TIIkF3I
