Nottingham Forest fans wonder if Pantilimon deal will go through

Costel Pantilimon spent the second half of last season in between the sticks at Nottingham Forest.

The goalkeeper joined the Championship outfit from Watford on loan after spending the first half of the campaign at Deportivo La Coruna.

During his time at the City Ground, Pantilimon made 13 league appearances, conceded 14 goals and kept four clean sheets.

Bringing the Romanian to the club would make sense for Forest given that they know they can trust the former Manchester City stopper, who won the Premier League title with the North-West outfit.

However, media reports have suggested that a deal has not been easy to come by.

The Nottingham Post claimed on Saturday morning that the move could be delayed due to rumours that Watford’s target Orestic Karnezis will not be leaving his current club Udinese.

Forest fans have been tweeting their thoughts on the situation, with some convinced that it will be a matter of time before a deal is thrashed out, while others are feeling uneasy.
