Zach Clough has been told he is free to find another club this summer and his profile has been removed from the club website, according to The Nottingham Post.
The 23-year-old only joined Forest from Bolton Wanderers in January 2017 and was loaned back to the Trotters a year later for the second half of last season.
The midfielder has only made 27 appearances for Forest during his time there, the majority coming as a substitute, and Aitor Karanka made it clear he wasn’t part of his plans by loaning him out just after he joined.
According to the report, Clough is one of a number of players who Karanka wants to move out this summer and he no longer features on the club website.

Karanka has had a massive squad overhaul this summer, bringing in ten new faces to the City Ground and moving on some of the dead wood at the club.
However, there’s still a number of players occupying places in the squad that are highly unlikely to feature this season, and if the club can raise some funds to offset its heavy spending, there’s no reason to keep them on its books.
Clough is clearly not fancied by Karanka and considering he only made two starts for Bolton in his loan spell, it seems that he hasn’t lived up to the promise he showed during his first spell at the Macron Stadium.
If Karanka can get something close to the reported £2.5million figure they spent on him eighteen months ago, he will be delighted.
