Son of former Nottingham Forest forward David Johnson, Brennan Johnson, has been earning rave reviews from fans of the club after scoring a tremendous hat-trick for the U23s this week.
The 17-year-old has been in terrific form of late and the quality of his goals showed that as two came from outside of the box.
? A superb hat-trick from Brennan Johnson for the Under 23s!

Watching the goals back, a host of supporters were drooling over his display. One fan hinted that it would be good to see him in the senior team before a potential loan move next season. Similarly, another supporter hoped to see him get some minutes from the bench in the remaining matches this term.
Two individuals meanwhile spoke about his father, saying he was banging the ball in like his dad whilst another made reference to a chant that used to be sung back when he was playing for Forest between 2001 and 2006.
The young forward has meanwhile been capped at youth level for both England and Wales.
Here’s the best of the reaction from Twitter.
Be nice to see him get his debut in the Garibaldi in the next few games ahead of a loan move or squad place next season. Credit to @davidaj09 and @GazBraz etc. for developing a great player with a great attitude! #NFFC

What class those goals were. Great to see @GazBraz and his staff bringing more gems through. Let’s hope they get their chance with us.

Real quality goals again from Johnson. He must be fairly close to the first team on current form.
