The majority of Nottingham Forest fans who responded to our poll want 35-year-old Daryl Murphy to start ahead of big money new signing Lewis Grabban in the clash with Sheffield Wednesday this evening.
Grabban struggled to get into the game during the 0-0 draw with Swansea on the weekend and his only opening came towards the end of the game, when he looked to be through on goal but the bouncing ball wouldn’t sit for the 30-year-old and Swansea’s defenders were able to get back.
Forest boss Aitor Karanka signed Grabban this summer from Bournemouth in a £6m deal but the striker is yet to score for his new club. Murphy on the other hand has three goals in five appearances throughout all competitions so far in this campaign.
The Forest fans that voted in our poll were clearly ready to give up on Grabban, as 57 per cent wanted Murphy to be given the nod against the Owls. Check out the full results below.
