The Daily Mail’s live transfer blog (03/01/19 15:35) reported that Nottingham Forest were considering making a move to sign Portsmouth winger Jamal Lowe in the January transfer window.
Forest could do with bolstering their attacking contingent ahead of the second half of the Championship campaign, especially if they’re serious about maintaining their challenge for the play-offs.
Former boss Aitor Karanka is no longer in charge at the City Ground, which could mean that Lowe is no longer a target. However, the Forest hierarchy, and Karanka’s eventual replacement, would be wise to keep this deal alive as the 24-year-old would be a smart acquisition.
