Pizza Punter predicts: Brentford, Reading & Cardiff to bang in the goals

We all love the Championship. Forget the glitz and glamour the Premier League, the second tier brings more excitement and drama, as well as, quite often, more goals, making it the perfect division to win yourself a pizza from.

Yep, you heard us right, if the team YOU back scores two or more goals, Papa Johns will give you 50% off a pizza of your choice. All you have to do is sign up and wait for the ball to hit the back of the net a couple of times, which will see a tasty, discounted pizza hit your table.

We know not every team will be banging in the goals, so we here at FootballFanCast have gone to the trouble (we know, we’re lovely) of assessing who is likely to ease your gurgling belly this midweek…

Playing lowly Charlton is practically a guarantee of goals, and Brentford, who have netted two or more in 14 occasions, host the Addicks this weekend. Okay, the Bees have only registered two or more goals once in their last five games, but there’s a good chance that could change soon!

Fulham have been leaking goals this term, and Reading have been steady. The Madejski Stadium has also become a difficult venue for away sides, so the Royals appear a relatively safe bet.

Cardiff have scored two or more goals 16 times this season (the joint highest return in the Championship) and face a Bristol City team that have conceded two or more on 15 occasions. Goals seem to be on the cards in the West Country.
