Queens Park Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to urge club chairman Tony Fernandes not to sell Luke Freeman on the cheap in this summer’s transfer window.
A number of QPR supporters are still furious that goalkeeper Alex Smithies was allowed to join Cardiff City for a small fee earlier this summer, and many are fearing a similar situation with Freeman.

Freeman joined QPR from Bristol City in January 2017, and the 5ft 9in ace has scored seven times and registered 17 assists in 64 appearances for the R’s.
Last term, the attacker scored five goals and registered 13 assists in 45 Championship appearances, and it is not a surprise that the QPR supporters are so desperate to keep hold of him, or at least secure his true value.
A selection of the best Twitter reaction from the QPR fans can be seen below:
@tonyfernandes If you’re considering selling Freeman it can’t be for no less than 10m. Baring in mind he had a total of 12 Assists and 5 goals last year from midfield. I understand he is replaceable but can’t be for no less that what I & other fans have mentioned.

Please if the rumours are true about Freeman don’t sell him for any less than 6million because that’s his worth. Not 3million or 4!!!! Stop selling on the cheap!! #qpr

Selling Luke Freeman, one of the top assisters in the entire divison last year, for £3m, would be vintage QPR.
