QPR fans are unhappy with Freeman reports

Queens Park Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to urge club chairman Tony Fernandes not to sell Luke Freeman on the cheap in this summer’s transfer window.

A number of QPR supporters are still furious that goalkeeper Alex Smithies was allowed to join Cardiff City for a small fee earlier this summer, and many are fearing a similar situation with Freeman.

Middlesbrough, West Bromwich Albion and Sheffield United are all being linked with moves for the 26-year-old, as recently covered by The Mirror.

Freeman joined QPR from Bristol City in January 2017, and the 5ft 9in ace has scored seven times and registered 17 assists in 64 appearances for the R’s.

Last term, the attacker scored five goals and registered 13 assists in 45 Championship appearances, and it is not a surprise that the QPR supporters are so desperate to keep hold of him, or at least secure his true value.
