Queens Park Rangers will open their 2017-18 Championship season with a clash against Preston North End on August 4.
The R’s ended last term in 16th position in the table, and will certainly be looking to improve on that finish in the coming campaign.
One player who will be looking to make an impression next season is 20-year-old midfielder Bright Osayi-Samuel.
The Nigerian joined the R’s from Blackpool last summer, and scored once in 23 appearances for his London club during the 2017-18 campaign.
Osayi-Samuel was on the scoresheet in QPR’s 3-0 win over Union Berlin at the weekend, meanwhile, and took to social media in the aftermath of that pre-season match.
The midfielder will now hope to be in the starting XI against Preston this weekend, with QPR looking to open their new season with an important three points.
