Peter Crouch has revealed that he "would love" to return to Queens Park Rangers before hanging up his boots.

Indeed, in an interview with ITV, Crouch said that he is planning on playing until he is 40, and is eyeing a return to QPR in the latter stages of his career.

Crouch, currently with Stoke City, represented QPR as a youth before turning out for the R's during the 2000-01 campaign, scoring 12 times in 47 appearances.

The centre-forward went on to represent Portsmouth, Aston Villa, Southampton, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur in the years that followed, before a move to Stoke in 2011.

Crouch will see his current deal with Stoke expire at the end of this season, and it is thought that the 37-year-old will move on next summer.

The QPR fans have been offering their views on a potential return for Crouch, and it would be fair to say that the majority want him back at Loftus Road.
