Queens Park Rangers announced on Monday that Luke Freeman had signed a new contract with the Championship club until the summer of 2021.
Freeman had 18 months left to run on his previous deal with the R’s, and the attacker’s future had been the subject of a lot of speculation.
However, QPR have now secured the future of the 26-year-old, who has scored three league goals for the club this season.

The R’s had a tough start to the 2018-19 campaign, but things have improved fairly drastically, and Saturday’s 2-2 draw at Stoke City has left the capital outfit in ninth position in the Championship table, just four points off the playoff positions.
There is no question that a number of clubs would have taken Freeman if he were available, but the QPR fans can now relax when it comes to the 5ft 9in attacker’s future.
