QPR fans desperate for Angel Rangel contract extension

As it stands, Angel Rangel is contracted to Queens Park Rangers until January 13, having signed a short-term deal with the R’s during the summer.

Rangel moved to QPR on a free transfer following his release from Swansea City, and has proved to be a valuable asset for the R’s in recent weeks.

Indeed, the Spaniard has made five Championship appearances for the club, and has helped them win three of their last four league matches.

Rangel will turn 36 next month, and it is currently unclear what his plans are.

However, the QPR supporters are in no doubt, and many have taken to social media to urge their club to tie the defender down until at least the end of the season.

QPR made a rotten start to the 2018-19 Championship season, but have been much, much better in recent weeks, and will be looking to continue their fine form when they host Norwich City on Saturday.
